Auction Results: September 2023

A collection of watches and good quality jewellery provided the highlights of Michael Bowman’s September 23rd auction held at Chudleigh.

 

A Welsh internet bidder bought a Rolex Yacht Master with platinum dial for £5,500.  A second Welsh bidder secured a bi-metal Rolex Datejust also for £5,500, whilst a black dial Explorer II went to a buyer from London for £4,600.  A local collector prevailed with a winning bid of £2,600 for the Rio 2016 Olympics edition Omega Speedmaster, complete with box and paperwork.  An Omega Seamaster ‘Planet Ocean’ model sold to an internet bidder for £2,300.

Star of the sale, was the art deco emerald & diamond set platinum bracelet, which sold to a London telephone bidder for £15,000.  Further down the price scale, a 2.6 carat Burmese sapphire & diamond ring was bought by a London internet bidder for £2,100, whilst a heavy gold charm bracelet sold in the room for £1,300.
