19th century oil on panel by the Spanish artist, Vicente Esquivel

A 19th century oil on panel by the Spanish artist, Vicente Esquivel, promises to be one of the day's highlights.  The artist skilfully captures grain falling from the outstretched hand of a traditionally dressed young woman, to a family of hungry poultry with chicks at her feet.  Signed and measuring 13.5" x 10", bidding in the region of £6,000-9,000 are anticipated.

The sale is on view next Friday evening September 26th at Chudleigh between 4pm and 7:30pm and from 10:30am on auction day.
